sick episode

i dont know what i ate but something went down with my system pretty badly. i was awake at 5am this morning with my head in the loo, not very pleasant. i havent often got to the point where there is literally no liquid in my stomach so wretching is the most horrible experience. ive had a thumping headache all day and couldnt even leave the upstairs of the house because my cousins baby daughter was in the house and apparently i wasnt allowed to risk passing anything on, fair enough. the most annoying thing is missing the emerge night hike that i was really looking forward to and i wont be able to go to the early morning gym session with some of the guys from church tomorow as well which is a bummer. depending on how i feel i may or may not go to the band practice and i had planned to meet a friend for lunch....chaos.

aside from being really sick today things genrally have been going ok. ive broken up from uni which was a relief because i didnt really enjoy the last couple of weeks but having said that i have some revision to do and an essay that should take a few days to complete, so its not all rest over christmas.

i have even less idea about who may read this as i did with the cambodia blog, probably because i havent really told anyone about this blog. leave a message if you do read it. maybe you have a particularly disgusting story of a sick episode to share?

springy step

i had a mentally long walk home to broadwater from east worthing a few weeks ago and could feel the spring in my step but was none the wiser. i think im quite a nostalgic person, i never used to keep photos because they made me sad, remembering all the good times the used to be whilst forgetting all the good times that currently are, but now i quite like looking back and remembering. then i realised that i was, for the first time in a long time, feeling really, really happy. i actually had a good night sleep that night!

something new...

For the first time in months i realised that i actually miss writing blogs, whilst i was away this year in Cambodia i was writing several a week. i never really understood blogging and always thought the people who write blogs expect someone, if only a strange cyber silver surfer, to read them and the whole process becomes one very obvious attempt for self glorification and ego mania. im sure that there is some truth and some overexaggerated nonsense in that sentence but either way i dont really care, i just enjoy writing. im not entirely sure what i'll write about, aside from a very beautiful woman, some mental friends and an increasingly uninteresting university course my life is spectacularly mundane. despite what sounds like a downer this year has probably been the best of my life so far.
